UPON LOSS

Holly is just a young woman going through life, doing her best to make everyone happy and comfortable. Sure, she has demonic encounters and thoughts of death - but what's that compared to heartbreak? What will she do when there's nothing left to lose and darkness descends?

This production is completely devised of several elements like projections, music, dance, comedy, puppet / creature acting, and a one-woman show - all meant to shock and draw in the audience on her experience with learning how to give yourself hope in a moment of complete darkness. It includes the actress and playwright, dance ensemble, non-speaking masked character, and a musician - totaling 7 performers. The style is physical, devised, dance, and performance art. The genre of this play is horror, drama, and autobiographical with themes of LGBTQ+, sexual assault, spirituality, and medical trauma.
